I just finished reading the EasyWay to Stop Smoking by Allen Carr. It was amazing. And I’m not even a smoker.

Only about 5% of quit attempts are successful. People fail because they don’t understand the psychology of smoking and don’t know how to conquer what’s really a mind game. This book dives into the psychology of smoking and helps you form undeniable and rational reasons to stop and then details the mind hack that enables you to truly quit. It’s a quick and fun read.

Drugs and patches have never been shown to help people stop smoking in a significant way. I’ve heard from a few people now that they weren’t able to quit until they read this book. Even if you’re not a smoker, read it. We’re all addicted to something. It’s a study of what makes humans tick, what makes us do repetitive, addictive things, and how corporations fuel those addictions. It really is wonderful.
