In 2012, I’ll be one of the founding faculty members for a new department, The Products of Design, at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. The class I’ll be teaching is Service Entrepreneurship. Here’s some more information:

The MFA in Products of Design, chaired by Core77’s own Allan Chochinov and co-founded with Steven Heller, will launch fall of 2012 and aims to provide an immersive, strategic, and making-based curriculum around purposeful artifacts, systems, and design offerings. Faculty include luminaries from leading organizations such as IDEO, Fuse Project, Antenna, Smart, frog, DesignObserver, Doblin, MAKE, Material ConneXion, and more. Visiting lecturers include Tim Brown, Janine Benyus, Aimee Mullins, Scott Wilson, Dale Doherty and others to be announced as the program ramps up.
