New Rule(s)

Instead of waking up and immediately checking my email and getting stressed out about work, I put my iPhone in Airplane mode from bedtime until 9 am. I wake up at 7:45 am, make coffee, and settle down to reading two long form articles on paper about things I don’t know much about. 

My mornings for the past few weeks have been much more fulfilling. You gotta turn off a few times a day and concentrate.
