A self-portrait at my place in Baltimore during my Hopkins Preventive Medicine residency. I lived in the Copycat Building (1500 square feet for $750 a month…those were the days). During the last week of living there and just prior to moving back to NYC, I saw three people shot and two people die outside that window in two separate incidents. I also had my moving truck stolen the night before the move.

My 92 year old grandfather has been the best bowhunter for his age in the US for the last 40 years. He’s a regular in the senior olympics. He shot that javelina.
