I got my Brompton on Friday and have been riding it around London about as happy as can be. I found The John Snow on Foureyesup yesterday and had to pay it a visit. It was here that John Snow discovered that cholera was transmitted via water.

And today, after a discovery that’s led to literally saving hundreds of millions of lives over the centuries, it’s marked by a red granite brick on the street corner with cigarette butts and trash.

Anyway, the point of having a bike is to use it to explore wherever you are. And the point of having a Brompton is that you can fold it up and take it on an airplane as a carry on. It’s a whole new world…
