We need:

Someone to help me research and design a 21st Century healthcare delivery network for the Freelancers Union. What kind of providers are needed? How do they deliver care? Is it half online and half in the office? How are health professionals paid? How much are they paid? What technology is needed? What is the messaging/marketing/communication of this new system? How do we build this with, and for, health professionals and members to make everyone’s lives easier? And how do we actually build it starting here in NYC?

It’s a very fascinating opportunity like no other. It’s for a group that absolutely gets design with a mission to build a highly functioning healthcare system for the 43 million independent workers in America. We want a sustainable and affordable healthcare solution for a workforce of the 21st Century. Tomorrow’s workforce is different from the last century’s workforce. We’re no longer anchored to employers for life. So how can we create a sustainable system that makes sense for the future? The Freelancers Union is also an insurance company so we have the freedom and resources to rethink and rebuild healthcare as we think it should function.

You are:

• A student looking for a three month paid summer project.
• A unique thinker.
• Earning your MBA in Healthcare or Masters in Public Health. You may also be a design and business savvy medical student. You could also be a design student.
• Internet savvy.
• A publisher. What is your blog?
• Organized.
• In NYC and ready to work full-time and directly with me and the team at the Freelancers Union.
