Health insurance typically (most of the time) covers traditional healthcare. Traditional healthcare (western medicine) treats you with pills and procedures. Traditional insurance rarely covers therapy for mental health problems like depression and anxiety, alternative/eastern medicine, chiropractic, acupuncture, life coaching, etc…specifically, the “chronic diseases” of younger people. And depression is one of the top 5 most expensive diseases to treat in America.
Does mandated traditional western medicine health insurance meet our needs as young people?
