Is this big news to the general public that the healthcare system, in general, is stuck in the 1960’s when it comes to managing health information?

I guess so.  I’d like to think we’re being mocked by people from other industries who are just shaking their heads in disbelief that “the greatest healthcare system in the world” that comprises 16.3% of our GDP still runs on handwritten, scrawly notes.
