The average family of 4 with health insurance from an employer now pays almost $20k/year in insurance costs between employer and employee — double the 2002 rate. Wow.

I’ve been saying this for quite some time. In fact, in 2019, given the past rate of increase, the costs will be about $28,530. Premiums double about every 8 years:
