Yesterday, I took the train up to Bear Mountain and biked to Storm King where I met David, Rachel, Andrew, and little Milo. David and Rachel rode their new motorbike complete with sidecar. So when Rachel offered me the coveted sidecar spot, I jumped on it. We threw my bike in Andrew’s car, traveled south a bit, ate some pizza, and then I rode the last 35 miles on my bike back to Brooklyn for a total of about 55 to 60 miles on the bike. All in all, a day full of memorable moments. Btw, that black ball is of course a spotlight. And for the record, I love motorcycles, but going over 50mph in that thing is terrifying.
